The Creative Coding Community
The creative coding community is hands down one of the most welcoming and supportive groups of people I've come across. Onve of the most rewarding aspects of running this blog has been the friendly and educative interactions it's allowed me to have with folks all around the world.
Following the creative loop started by @gorillasu and @JuhaniHalkomaki I gave it a go to slicing polygons.

Starting down a canvas/generative path. Here is a randomly generative PCB. Big shoutout to @gorillasu who's tutorial this is based on! pic.twitter.com/kwJgMbqL38

Been experimenting with gradients based on something I believe I read in @gorillasu (another 🌞)'s excellent blog. Zooming in on the upper left corner in pictures 2 and 3.#genart #genartclub #digitalart #generativeart #abstractart #gradient #p5js #javascript pic.twitter.com/owrURUvoZN

Got inspired by @gorillasu's tweet about a recursive polygon splitting. Had fun playing with the idea. https://t.co/3rnQoETpbH pic.twitter.com/i6qcaFLPvZ
Added irregular grids to my project using a technique from an amazing article by @gorillasu #generative #codeart pic.twitter.com/WWx9UBTW5L

Interestingly, just after starting with variable-sized grids on OpenProcessing, I discover a lovely article about it.https://t.co/6z5tpgc3Xr

I notice @gorillasu doesn't even entertain my brute force filling method, and to be quite honest I'm shocked that I went for it! :) pic.twitter.com/bPbNLDV81C
I've been slowly accumulating a list of non-institutional p5js and generative art resources and at this rate it's going to be 90% @gorillasu's blog.

have been getting lots of questions about how to start making generative art.

i love it! start right now, it's a wonderful hobby. here are my favorite 3 resources:
